Introduction
Access to Clarkson College electronic resources is limited to those with Clarkson College credentials. OpenAthens is remote authentication software that uses your Clarkson College username and password for access to eBooks, journals and databases.
FAQ
Will I register for an OpenAthens account?
No. You will not need a separate account to use OpenAthens. You will be using your Clarkson College credentials to access Library resources from off-campus.
Will I need to login to every Library resource I access from off-campus?
No. Once you login to OpenAthens from your device, it will remember your session and you will not need to login to any subsequent resources you access during your session.

Find the resource you need
Select the resource you wish to access from Clarkson College Library website. Most resource links will then route you directly to your Clarkson College Office365 account. Certain resources may require you to locate Clarkson College on the OpenAthens landing page.
Find your organization
Due to variations in publisher authentication methods you may not immediately be routed to the Clarkson College login page but to the OpenAthens landing page. If that occurs you will need to locate Clarkson College from the drop down menu on the right. Do not sign-in with an OpenAthens account. Once you select Clarkson College you will be prompted to login with your credentials.
Login to Office365
Login with your Clarkson College email and password. Once you click 'Log In' you will be taken to your chosen resource.
