Shakespeare
The National Library of Medicine Traveling Exhibit “Shakespeare and the Four Humors” will be on display in the library through August 2nd.
The six-panel exhibit and companion website explore the language of the “Four Humors” and their influence in English poet and playwright William Shakespear’s plays. The four humors include blood, black bile, yellow bile, and phlegm.
