CINAHL Ultimate is the new definitive resource for nursing and allied health research, providing full text for more of the most used journals in the CINAHL index than any other database. It covers over 50 nursing specialties and includes quick lessons, evidence-based care sheets, CEU modules, and research instruments.
Sometime in November, a new product, Nursing and Allied Health Reference Source, will be replacing Nursing Reference Center Plus. NRC+ is a point-of-care database that serves both staff nurses and nursing students. It includes evidence-based guidelines, patient education, drug information while providing access to the original research articles.

DailyMed provides the package insert information for FDA approved drugs in an easy-to-read display. DailyMed contains labeling for prescription and nonprescription drugs for human and animal use, and for additional products such as medical gases, devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and medical foods. Package inserts are generally created for the purpose of providing healthcare professionals with information relevant to writing prescriptions, and to help consumers and patients learn about their prescriptions.
These premium databases (which include Consumer Health Complete, Small Business Source, MyHeritage Library Edition, Explora Public, and NoveList Plus) are available to Nebraska residents. The Nebraska Library Commission purchases these annual subscriptions for Nebraskans with funding from the State of NE and the IMLS. OpenEvidence is free for US HCPs and allows unlimited question asking when you sign up with your NPI. There is a weekly limit for unverified users.
